I’ve had one of these since high school. My English teacher was adamant about never using said unless we had to.

omg…this is so…amazing…

for the people who write and only say “he said”, “she said”, “they said”… ugh

GOD BLESS THIS

OMG can someone please show this to people in my English classes

A gift to fellow rpers

GOD BLESS YOU

WRONG. Wrongwrongwrongwrongwrong. I’m sorry, so sorry guys. I’m not meaning to be a jerk when I say this. But “said” is unobtrusive and invisible, and realizing that you should primarily use “said”, or else NO DIALOGUE TAGS AT ALL, is one of the BEST things you can do for your writing. Choosing a word-of-the-day dialogue tag is one of the key markers of a novice writer, and it doesn’t vary things or make your story interesting to use “she grumbled”, “he objected”, or “they tittered”.
Throw away this list. Learn to tag your dialogue like a pro. Use your character’s actions or thoughts to tag who’s speaking. Or - get this - if you make your characters’ dialogue unique enough from person to person, it will often be obvious who’s talking based on what they’re saying.

So I posted awhile ago about wanting to find a workout that would benefit my riding. I just figured I would share what I came up with by combining a couple “30 Day Challenges”…. It focuses on core and upper-leg strength. I plan on combining this with daily no-stirrup work and hopefully some cardio.
Hoping to benefit a few of you as well. I started mine today if any of you are wanting to take it with me!! (:
